AIR EJECT TOOLS

Wilson’s Air Eject technology is designed to prevent damage to the tooling and also clear the web of debris or waste in a wide range of metalto-metal applications. Ask a representative to discuss specific applications for best results.

KEY CONSIDERATIONS WHEN ORDERING AN AIR EJECT TOOL

  • Review the maximum number of eject holes in the tool for optimal performance.
  • Ensure you can maintain 100psi at the die. The volume of air is one of the most important variables to confirm when evaluating a design for Air Eject consideration, too little air is the most common cause of tool failure.
  • Consider the type of material you are cutting. For example, if you are trying to eject an open cell foam, you will not be successful as the air has very little to push against.
  • By isolating the Air Eject portion into separate tooling you can control the pressure on the metal-to-metal cuts more accurately and increase the life of the tool dramatically.
